Dayna,

Here's a good Owl ID site.

Can anyone recommend a website with bird calls that I can listen to to identify an owl in the woods behind my house? I have both Cornell's Bird Songs of the Pacific States and Familiar Bird Songs of the NW from the Portland Audubon Society and cannot identify it from these. He calls from about 1-2 a.m. with 2 notes high and 2 notes lower, then 2 or 3 more high and 2 more lower with no pauses in between (sorry, I don't know how to properly write this). Any help would be appreciated.
