This morning George Gerdts and I enjoyed close looks at a male WHITE-TAILED PTARMIGANi and several GRAY-CROWNED ROSY-FINCHES on the summit of Snoqualmie Peak above Alpental at Snoqualmie Pass. It is a steep, rough 3 hour climb to the top, but the views are fantastic.
