This afternoon the crows and robins were freaking out in the ravine behind my house here in Lake Forest Park. I went to investigate and found a quite recently fledged BARRED OWL, about 2/3 grown, and shortly thereafter an adult swooped in. The young bird is out there now hissing, waiting for his evening meal.
