I had a very nice walk on the Orting/FoothillsTrail today. I watched two Dippers splash around in South Prairie Creek. At the wetland rest stop (I am not sure what to call this) I saw a Wilson's Snipe. The ducks present included Mallards, Green-winged Teal, American Wigeon, Common Merganser and Hooded Merganser.
Frogs were busy singing and that always makes me feel good.
