Hello Tweeters,

Combining my vocation of Flash animation with my avocation of bird
photography, I've posted the first iteration of my interactive bird
identification Flash movie. It includes 90 photos of nearly as many
species. I'd greatly appreciate feedback regarding any missed or
incomplete identifications. I'm trying to make this kid-friendly, so
I'm not necessarily wanting to give lengthy qualifying descriptions,
just the basics.

Soon there will be voice-overs for all the names. I may also add a
multiple-choice quiz feature, with scoring and enthusiastic feedback.
I'd be happy to hear your ideas for making this more engaging. A nice
thing about Flash is that it's easy to show or hide additional
features according to the user's preferences.

Sadly my own field audio recordings don't come close to covering
enough species, but if you have thoughts for locating associated bird
calls and songs, with legal permission to use them on my site, do let me know.
