Subject: [Tweeters] Possible Golden Pheasant in Bothell

Greetings Tweeters,

This morning a call was forwarded to me via Seattle Audubon from
Frank McKinney in Bothell. He said that he had seen a large bird in his 5
acre yard with a bright yellow head, a red body, dark blue wings and a long
dark tail. It was not a Peacock or a Ring-necked Pheasant, but appeared to
be of similar size and have similar activities. Based on my experience
tying trout flies, this sounded like an escaped Golden Pheasant male.

If anyone has a desire to check up on this, or knows someone who
is missing a classy pet, you might get in touch with Frank at home
(425-488-6321) or at work (206-367-7690).
