although I did not solicit specific scope
recomendations, I've received quite a few when I asked
about shop locations.
Therefore, let's expand my request and get a real
survey going:
Please send my any recomendations AND critiques of
Spotting Scope Brands and Models that ya'll own or
have owned in the past. Specifics would be most
helpful.
I will compile the survey results and post back to
Tweeters, at the same time I post the results about
the local stores that you have all provided.

2nd Item : I jokingly proposed a Tweeters
Scope-a-thon. I've gotten several responses
indicating a real interest in such an event. (And
that one already occured back in the early 90's)
Question to you - If such an event was planned, how
many of you would be interested in attending?
Let me know and I will compile and post the results.

(Define Scope-a-Thon --> I was thinking an informal
gathering at a park, potluck lunch, social gathering,
informal comparison of Spotting Scopes the main focus
and excuse to gather.)

Maybe we could actually make it happen, and I could
meet face-to-face with a few more of you ;)
