Tweets - eight of enjoyed a not very pleasant morning at Marymoor today. It
was dark and cold and windy. Luckily it wasn't all that rainy, which it
very well could have been. Still, it was pretty birdy, all things
considered.

Highlights:

Virginia Rail Heard at least 4, spontaneous calls
V.-g. Swallow? Had about 10 white-bellied swallows at lake
Northern Shrike Adult in East Meadow calling repeatedly
Townsend's Warbler 1 NE of mansion - 5th straight week.
Fox Sparrow Quiet singing from 2. Many seen.
W. Meadowlark 1 near Compost Piles

For the day, 55 species. Really not a bad count at all, given the weather.
