After signing off the last posting I took a gander outside again to watch
the pair of ravens circling above the valley in front of me. Passing them
(and me) was a lone turkey vulture sauntering slowing northward.

For those keeping track, I'm at :N47.23, W123.00. Or in layman's terms, in
north Mason County about 11 air miles west/southwest of Belfair.

On another tack - is there anyone (female) that might be willing to share a
room and lodging costs at Republic for this summer's WOS
convention/conference. All three motels in Republic are booked up and the
gal at Prospector's Inn said most of the double bed rooms are taken by
singles and to check and see if anyone is willing to share lodging. If you
