My wife and I were at Naches this last weekend. We came back on the Wenas/Umtanum Road. There was still a lot of snow on Ellensburg Pass. Sure sign of spring though, we saw 16 Western Bluebirds. We saw two pairs going at each other. The two females and the two males were fighting each other so violently that they were falling off the fence line to the ground with their beaks locked together, wings flailing against each other. There must a been a primo house nearby. We also had a Say's Phoebe west of Naches.
