The guillemots at the Southworth ferry dock are, indeed, pigeon guillemots.
I saw a flock of about 25 there on March 1st, this being the first I've seen
them this spring. They have had nesting holes in the cliff face just south
of the dock. But this winter's rains caused some of the cliff face to erode
and there are presently no holes visible. Guess they'll have to get busy
digging out new holes.
