On march 17, when I was vacationing in the Tillamook OR area, I observed two
LONG-TAILED DUCKS (life bird!), both with groups of surf scoters, on the
Nehalem Bay. In addition to the common regulars, I also saw large groups of
RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS in Nehalem & Tillamook bays, and near Wheeler.
