Nine Violet-green Swallows at Juanita Bay this morning. Lots of Red-winged Blackbirds (tho the partial albino was nowhere to be found), including some females in addition to the displaying males. Two or three pairs of Wood Ducks, males in prime spring plumage. Bonus: a pair of Red-breasted Sapsuckers, excavating a nest hole in a snag at the water's edge, near the western viewing deck.
