Tweets,
Isn't there someone wanting reports of banded Horned Larks?
Other Ocean Shores/coastward sightings from 3/18 (sorry this is so late):
-- 5 Snowy Owls continue(d) at Damon Point, doing a better job staying out
of sight and off the beaten track
-- 1 Snowy (a 6th?) we inadvertently flushed off the jetty
-- 10 Black Scoters at jetty, 7 males--most I've seen
-- ~6 Rock Sandpipers, ~2 Surfbirds on jetty
-- Merlin, Damon Point
-- No Gyrfalcon seen at Oyhut Game Range
-- Trumpeter Swan, Wenzel Slough Rd marsh (may have been more than one)
-- Gray Whales (probably 3+) and a sea lion in Grays Harbor
It was great fun taking a friend to see his first Snowy Owl! Conditions
Saturday were quite pleasant.
Good birding!
