Hi, Tweets.
Detailed directions to the location, along with homeowner's
instructions, were posted on the Vancouver Island birding list
yesterday:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bcbirdingvanisland/messages
Another posting indicates the bird was seen again early this morning
(Wednesday).
Note that a recently posted Vancouver RBA gives the Victoria RBA phone
number as (250) 392-3381 but a subsequent message indicates there was a
typo in that number -- it is actually (250) 592-3381.

Subject: [Tweeters] PABU near Victoria

Greetings All
I just received the following message.
I thought I would pass along info on a female Painted Bunting currently
visiting a feeder in Brentwood Bay just north of Victoria. Bird was last
seen at about 0800 and is likely going to "stick" for a bit. The bird
likely wintered nearby as I doubt it would be migrant this early. This
would only be second provincial record. I no longer belong to
'Tweeters', but you can forward the news if you wish.
Directions are on the Victoria rare bird tape. I don't know the phone
number
Cheers
