I stopped by the Federal Way lake again this afternoon
on the way home at 4:45. The Tufted Duck was back, as
was the large group of Ring-necked ducks and the Am
Wigeons. And more of both flew in while I was
watching, with a single Redhead.
Got great looks at the TUDU from about 100' away in
the scope. VERY NICE!!
They may be roosting at night on this lake, and
spending days elsewhere? Do not know.
I will continue to watch the lake when I can to see if
I can figure out their patterns.
