Tom Munson reported seeing 4 Snowy Owls today near Tokio on I-90 between Cheney and Ritzville. They were a couple miles east of the Tokio junction 3-400 yds north of MP 239 from the freeway. He did not find any access to the area to get closer. He also found about 8 Short-eared Owls hunting at dusk along the Old State Hwy just southwest of the entry to Fishtrap Lk. This Hwy is between Sprague and Tyler south of I-90. Ron Dexter
