Today at our farm on Brady Loop Road we had a very, very light Canada Goose.
I thought it was a swan until I got a better look. From a distance it is
all white.

I am sure there are many domestic/wild Canada Goose mixes and I have seen
some hybrids but I am guessing this one is a true leucistic?

Over the past 10 years I have noticed many "bleached" version of common
animals in our area. I have seen very pale/butterscotch raccoons and quite a few
crows that exhibit wing patterns and body markings that have large areas of
white-reminding me much like magpies of the desert in central WA.

Anyone else notice more albinism or is it just me noticing more?
