Hi Tweeters,

I visited the Wallula poop piles near the Walla Walla River delta this
afternoon, searching for the Iceland Gull that has been seen there
recently. I dipped on it but did see two first-year Glaucous Gulls.

Among other stops, I drove through Columbia Park in Richland hoping to find
a Eurasion Wigeon. Dipped again but did find a hybrid Eurasian X American
Wigson and a possible hybrid Canada Goose X Greater White-fronted
Goose. Photos of the gulls, wigeon and goose are in the new photos folder
on my website.

I ran between the poop piles and the Two Rivers WMA searching for the
Iceland Gull. There were a large number of gulls at Two Rivers, well over
3000, with a vast majority being Ring-billed Gulls. There were quite a few
pink Ring-billed Gulls in the group, at least a ratio of one in 30-40.

I did get a Eurasian Wigeon at Two Rivers for my year list.

A Great Horned Owl is hooting near my house as I wrote this.
