If you grew up in the 60's you might remember the TV show, Mutual of Omahas
Wild Kingdom, the host was Marlin Perkins, and his famous line was,...and
here comes one now.

Today at the SE side of Lord Hill Park with some students we were exploring
vole nests and runways as we hiked backed towards the road. As we got up on
the high part of the bowl, I said that such tunnels are like road signs for
birds of prey like Red-tail hawk....and here comes one now, flying fast and
low over the vole city!

As we were walking back from the river, along the farm flats there was a
culvert with a couple of small pools of standing water and about 40 or so
small quick fish. As we watched the fish I said this is the kind of place a
great blue heron loves to fish, and....here comes one now! It flew up from
the river and landed quite close, then calmly waded in and right in front of
us began fishing.

Then, just to test my luck, as I was walking back to the cars with a parent
I said, gee, today is the kind of day that Jessica Simpson would drive up
and want to ask me out on a date....and....well, two out of three aint
bad....
