This morning I saw a Short-eared Owl at the Kent ponds. It was finally run off by some Crows, it escaped them by gaining some altitude.

I had my first Swallows for the year. Voilet-green Swallows at the Kent Ponds and Boeing Ponds. Tree Swallows are presently nesting in boxes on the south side of the Kent Ponds.
