On Monday I had the delight of hearing my first White Crowned Sparrow of 2006, in the W35 parking lot at Pacific and Brooklyn. I've heard it each day since.

On the Burke-Gilman trail just a half-block west of Brooklyn, a Ruby Crowned Kinglet has been singing his heart out all week. I had never heard that song before -- how lovely!
