Hey all-
On my way between work sites this afternoon (3/29) I had a couple of
noteworthy sightings-
Williamson's Sapsucker- female in the pines at the Vernita Bridge rest
area. She wasn't happy when I continued to search the pines for owls-
lots of pellets and whitewash but no owls.
Ferruginous Hawk- pair about 20 miles east of Yakima on Hwy 24.
Loads of Mountain Bluebirds and Sage Sparrows at Quilomene WMA and I
kept running into Great Horned Owls everywhere- 4 birds total at 4 stops.
All for now- bye! AJ
