The Great-tailed Grackle is back at Liberty Lake for the 4th year in a row. You can find it at the corner of Molter and Valleyway or in the nearby neighhood. . If you don't see it, listen for it's weird calls as it seemingly tries to immitate the Brewer's Blackbird call plus it's own. . It hangs out with the Brewer's Blackbirds and apparently migrates with them. It also likes to visit bird feeders in the neighborhood including the third house on the north side of Valleyway going west. Sometimes it follows the trees in both golf courses going east along Valleyway as far as the clubhouse area on the north side, especially the fairway between no. 1 and 9 hole on the Meadowwood Golf Course.
