Hi Tweeters,

Third time was not a charm to try for the Tree Sparrow
at Marymoor this morning. But I did see my first
Osprey of the year on a light pole near the Velodrome.

When I pass them I check the cell tower Osprey nest at
Renton and the Osprey nest on a ballfield lightpole to
the west of 405 at the 520 interchange. They haven't
showed yet.

BTW I had a mystery bird fly over the Evergreen Point
bus stop this morning. I suspect it was a grousy type
bird. It was bulky with a longish tail and had very
stiff wingbeats with a lot of body motion on the wing.
I know my bins were focused on it and it still was
blurry from body motion. Not the best flyer but it
was high enough and didn't hang around long enough for
me to figure out what it was.
