I had a wild time at Discovery Park today. I am always rusty with shorebirds come spring. So here was a gorgeous Black-bellied Plover, which I quick scetched, and not having my field guide some birders, very kindly, let me look at theirs. It was in full spring colors. There was also a Semipalmated Plover nearby. This was the beach very close to the pond. A large Raccoon was on the beach as well.

In addition I saw and heard many Warblers. Wilson's Warblers and a Townsend's Warbler gave me a good show up in a Maple Tree. I heard many Orange-crowned Warblers. Today's bonus was a silent Olive-sided Flycatcher on top of a snaggy tree.
