Subject: [Tweeters] Public Bird Classes/Walks - Seward and Lincoln Parks -
Date: May 2 10:38:35 2006
From: Stewart Wechsler - ecostewart at quidnunc.net

I sent this before, but this is a reminder. I also mistakenly listed them
all as 7-9am, that is only the Sunday walk, the Wednesday walks are 6:30 -
8:30 am. The next class is tomorrow at Seward Park and then Sunday at
Lincoln Park in West Seattle. Now is peak songbird migration time. Think
warblers, vireos, tanagers etc. I'm supposed to cancel the walks if we
don't get enough sign-ups, but I'll lead them whether we get enough or not,
but please pre-register if posssible:

I'll be offering a series of bird walk nature programs at Seward Park and
Camp Long oriented to beginners, but intermediate and advanced birders
welcome too. There's still time to preregister for my next Seward Park walk
tommorrow

Early Bird Walks:

Spring migration is here: The warblers are singing and the tanagers and
vireos will soon follow, We won't forget the ducks and grebes or the hawks
and eagles.
Learn successful birding tips.
Beginner to intermediate birders
Advanced birders welcome too.
Tell your friends.

Pre-register at 206 684-7434 to ensure a space and prevent class from being
cancelled

Dates:
Wednesday, May 3 (Seward) 6:30 am - 8:30 am
Sunday, May 7 - (Lincoln) 7:00 am to 9:00 am
May 17 (Seward Again) 6:30 am - 8:30 am

Check out all of the Camp Long and Seward Park Nature Programs on line (many
of which I am leading) Google/search "Seward Park" or "Camp Long"
and in the "events and activities" box on the right click on "spring
brochure on line" (faster) or "printable brochure" (slower).
