Hey tweets,

Was a decent if too-brisk morning for birds this morning at Woodland Park Zoo (WPZ) for International Migratory Bird Day festivities. Lots of great exhibits set up in the Family Farm area if you get there early today.

Anyway, some good springtime migrants included Western Wood-pewee; Warbling Vireo's singing; Wilson's and Orange-crowned Warblers; a couple Golden-crowned Sparrows that haven't split yet; some Cedar Waxwings; and to start the morning, two Evening Grosbeaks flew over the south entrance. Good stuff! We even had both kinglets still lurking about.
