Hello Tweets,

this week's "Birds in the News" is now available. It
features a lovely photograph of one of the most
elegant shorebirds on earth, kindly provided by one of
my favorite professional avian photographers, Arthur
Morris. In addition to a feast of stories and
birdcams, it includes several important stories that
are hot off the presses; one, about the effects of
global warming on the pied flycatchers and another
that discusses the whether stopping air travel is
effective in preventing the spread of bird flu across
the globe.
