Per BIRDS OF WASHINGTON STATE by Stanley Jewitt, published in 1953, the
first WHITE-FACED IBIS in the state was collected at Clear Lake (near
Medical Lake), Spokane County, in 1909. Thanks to James Acton for
researching this.

Yesterday's Ibis was found 5 miles from Clear Lake. Unless I get more
information, it is the second county record.
