Hi Brett,

I'm color banding white-crowned sparrows on campus as part of my PhD research. This is my last of 4 field seasons, and now there are about 30 banded birds on campus (I've banded well over 150, but the juveniles rarely return). I'm out watching them and working with them almost every day now, but I am always interested in banded bird reports, so if anyone sees any of them, please feel free to email me directly. Most of the birds are quadruple banded: a color band over the USGS aluminum band on the left leg and two color bands on the right leg. If you can make out all of the colors, I can figure out which individual it is.

thanks!
