Tweeters,
Sunny with some thin clouds, light north breeze, and short-sleeve
outside temps at Turning Basin #3. The Least and Western Sandpipers are
still here and were at first loafing at the south side of TB3, but then
flew to start actively feeding in two main groups split along the storm
drain runnoff area behind the restoration peninsula.

The female Osprey at the Hamm Creek site is still tightly sitting; the
north Oxbow parking lot female was rearranging some nesting material.
The latter nest looks as if it's a going concern since the box went up.

Bird of the day: Tree Swallows. Two of them were investigating a hole in
an old piling. Haven't seen Tree Swallows here for a couple of years.
