I once witnessed an adult eagle bring a crow to it?s brood of 3/4 grown
young. It just dropped the crow into the nest and kept flying. Soon there
were feathers drifting down from the tree. A neighbor reported seeing the
same behavior a couple of days later.
No doubt some eagles are adept at catching crows despite the latter?s
mental capacities. Predator-prey. It?s a pretty basic relationship.
