This morning I walked the Mercer Slough Blueberry Farm loop, and also (briefly) Kelsey Creek Park (both in Bellevue). There were both Yellow and Wilson's Warblers at Mercer Slough, along w/ Common Yellowthroats. A pair of Green Herons flew north over the slough, and I had a dazzling view of a male Rufous Hummingbird in the morning sun. There were quite a few Warbling Vireos in the birch (?) trees south of the blueberries.
Over at Kelsey Creek Park I saw my first-of-year female Western Tanager (have been hearing the calls for a few days now, over at Marymoor, but hadn't actually seen a bird) and also f-o-y Western Wood-Pewee. Otherwise fairly quiet there other than the large numbers of Cliff Swallows.
