Hi Tweeters:

On Saturday, 5/13, between 7 and 7:30pm, Barbara Hayden and I observed a beautiful male REDHEAD DUCK hanging out with a pair of Gadwalls on Scriber Lk. from the parking lot of a professional office building on 52nd W just south of 200th SW in Lynnwood.

Over the past three years I've birded this area regularly and found it to be surprisingly productive even though surrounded by businesses and/or residences. I've observed 42 species there and photographed quite a few, mostly from my car, but this is the first time I've seen a Redhead at Scriber Lk..

If anyone else enjoys birding the Scriber Lk. area I'd enjoy hearing from you.
