I had my first to the yard Western Tanager (male), Saturday afternoon--it was drawn to my mister birdbath--I was in Bird Heaven. I had a female Western Tanager the next afternoon!; along with a pair of Wilson's Warblers, three male, one female Black-Headed Grosbeaks. "My" Bewick's wrens are feeding young in one of the nest boxes. I also had a male Yellow Warbler passing through on Saturday.
