Sorry to be so late with this. On our drive to Pasco, Friday night
5/12, I saw a Great Egret take off from the Yakima River just north of
the I82 bridge crossing the river. It was around 8:30 p.m., but the
size, wing shape, and bowed-wing flight with those trailing black legs
and feet were unmistakable.
