Thursday, May 11, 1:09 PM - This is Carl Haynie (425) 894 6671 in
Kent reporting the two GREAT EGRETS that Carol Shults found yesterday
at the ponds sand described on Tweeters. Today they were right over
the old Kent Ponds in the Green River Natural Area in flight. They
were headed north in the direction of the Boeing Ponds. That's it.
Good birding.

Friday, May 12, 6:30 PM - Hi, this is Steven Mlodinov. The LEWIS'S
WOODPECKER is still present in Everett at Lowell Park. This is not
Lowell River Park but Lowell Park. Lowell Park is just north of
Lowell Riverfront Park on second right where second and third
converge at the south end of Lowell Park across the street from the
park. There is a wooden power pole, and the bird is flycatching and
feeding off the top of the pole. It was first sighted by someone else
and reported on Tweeters around noon today. Good luck and good birding.

Saturday, May 13, 3;41 PM - HI. Steven Mlodinov. Today I birded the
Ridgefield and Vancouver Lake area. The main highlights were eleven
swans at Ridgefield River S unit, nine TUNDRAS and two TRUMPETERS.
There were also about sixteen WESTERN type GREBES, six of which were
CLARKS GREBES, maybe more. Had a NASHVILLE WARBLER and a WILLOW
FLYCATCHER where G Creek crosses Main Street in Ridgefield. Two BANK
SWALLOWS in the Carty Unit. Two REDHEADS on the Kiwa trail in the
River S unit and had four WESTERN KINGBIRDS and a LAZULI BUNTING near
Vancouver Lake. That's it. Good Luck and Good Birding.

Sunday, May 14, 6:54 PM - This is Patricia Lott (206) 362 6035. This
evening at 6:15 Alan Lincoln and I saw two what we believe to be
WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPERS on the old Goldendale Road west of the
Toppenish National Wildlife Refuge, about half way down the paved
part of the road flying towards the Pumphouse Road where they landed
again in the Marsh on the west side of the old Goldendale Road.
Thank you. Over and out!

Monday, May 15, 7:15 PM - This is Brad Waggoner out at Point-No-
Point. My phone number is (206) 384 6921. I'm reporting from a
sighting that Vic Nelson had at 1:00 o'clock today. Out in front of
his place he had a WHITE WAGTAIL. He had it for fifteen minutes. The
bird flew, not sure which direction. I think he might have got one
picture of it. I've been out here for a couple of hours and have not
succeeded in relocating it. There are EURASIAN COLLARED DOVES in the
area going to the feeder within the trailer court area, so those are
out here as a consolation prize if you can't find the WAGTAIL. Good
luck and good birding.
