Tweeters,
The slightest south breeze, very warm, and a cloudless blue sky at
Turning Basin #3. Swallows were really active today, especially the
Cliff Swallows gathering mud on the south mudflats. Both the Hamm Creek
and N. Oxbow parking lot Ospreys (fem.) were tight on respective nests.
It looks as if the pass-through of shorebirds might be over until late
summer.

Bird of the day: Female Yellow-rumped Warbler in the same tree I saw a
male of the species last week.
