Bob Flores called on his way to Ephrata a little before 3 pm. Along Dodson Road north of the Frenchman Wasteway he spotted a Common Moorhen in the borrow ditch on the west side of the road. He had to get to a meeting and couldn't relocate it after a quick turnaround. Definitely worth a search!
