Tweets - after Marymoor today, I had to go to the airport to pick something
up. SOOOO, I couldn't resist stopping by Boeing Ponds and GRNRA on the way
to the airport, and Montlake Fill on the way back.
At Boeing Ponds, there was one GREAT EGRET, a SPOTTED SANDPIPER, and a
MOURNING DOVE.
At the GRNRA South Tower, I had a singing male LAZULI BUNTING, another
SPOTTED SANDPIPER, and a singing YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT that was partially
visible through very distant branches. Not exactly a satisfying look, but I
heard it clearly, and oh well, it was a King County life bird for me (#242)
At Montlake Fill, there was the SNOW GOOSE, CINNAMON TEAL, both SCAUP, and a
GREATER YELLOWLEGS.
Alas, I've now seen the later reports from the area. How come those birds
weren't there at noon?
