Birding was generally slow today, but the one new bird found was a male
Red-necked Phalarope swimming among some Mallards and geese in the
constructed wetland (seen from the grassy knoll). The other highlights at
the Kent Ponds included the Trumpeter Swan, Yellow-breasted Chat, Lazuli
Buntings, Western Kingbird, two Caspian Terns, and Great Egret flying by.
The other egret was later seen in the Boeing Ponds.
