This weekend I attended a motorcycle club camp-out near Entiat in Eastern Washington and managed to get in quite a bit of birding time. The highlight being 2 calling LEAST FLYCATCHERS near the mouth of the Okanogan River, at a location along HWY 97. Traveling north out of Brewster on HWY 97 in a few of miles you will cross the Okanogan River. Immediately after you cross the river their is a gravel road on the right hand side that leads to a small parking area alongside the bridge. The flycatchers were heard from the parking area and I managed to see one of them a few times. Their is also a trail leading from the parking area and traveling along the Okanogan River which was quite birdy. A few of the additional species seen here were:

Cedar Waxwing

Sora

White Pelican

Bullock's Oriole

Cliff Swallow

Bank Swallow

Great Egret

Bald Eagle

Eastern Kingbird

Western Wood Pewee

Yellow Warbler

Spotted Sandpiper

Cheers and Good Birding;
