Birded Tyson ponds this morning with the following results:
*Red-necked Phalarope - 17, #210 for our county year list.
Wilson's Phalarope - 9
Dunlin - 1
Greater Yellowlegs - 1
American Avocet - 20
Black-necked Stilt - 13 - 5 on nest
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
Long-billed Dowitcher - 2
Black-crowned Night-Heron - 10
Great Blue Heron - 2
Common Raven - 75+ - eating dead calves and cows thrown out by the
slaughterhouse
Blue-winged Teal - 7
Cinnamon Teal - 11
Ruddy Duck - 8
Redhead - 28
American Wigeon - 7
Caspian Tern - 2
Also had a Great Egret off Hwy 12 between Touchet and Lowden.
Ginger Shoemake found *Catbirds up Russell Creek this am for #211 for our
county list.
