I saw the Black Phoebe today near its usual location
off 'M' street in Auburn. It was about 30 feet
downstream (south) of the bridge today. Its plumage
is starting to look a little worn. Primaries in
particular are developing soft brown edges.
I also spotted the Western Kingbird along the
fence-posts west and south of the road.
