We may have seen these pelicans tonight from highway 305 about 2 miles north
of the clear water casino - there was a flock of about 14 large birds flying
in V formation heading southwestish towards Rich Passage between Bainbridge
and the Kitsap Pennisula.

We didn't even have bin's with us - but could tell these birds were not
ordinary ducks or geese. They were dark and had huge wingspans, it looked
like their neck's were stretched out - but that was probably their large
bills.

//Vic Nelson saw 14 Brown Pelicans off of Point no Point last evening. All
were first-year birds. This morning I saw 4 off of Fay Bainbridge Park. Two
were flying southwestish down the center of the sound and two were foraging
with some gulls west of Jeff Head.//
