Hello all,
Mike and I just returned from looking for the Snowy Owl on Stateline/Umapine
Road west of Walla Walla - with no luck. I photographed it on Wednesday and
have not heard whether it was seen yesterday.
There were many Swainson's and Red-tailed Hawks and a few Northern Harriers
over the alfalfa fields that are being cut. I counted 47 raptors from one
spot. The owl may still be in the area but we have had windy weather and it
may have moved (north I hope!).
