We visited the Montlake Fill, Marymoor Park, and the Stillwater reserve, dodging the rain showers (not always successfully).

Good BLACK SWIFT weather. We saw a few high over Montlake and lots close overhead at Marymoor Park. We could actually tell males from females by tail shape.

A singing male LAZULI BUNTING was near the composts piles at Marymoor as was a pair of WESTERN KINGBIRDS. Another pair of Western Kingbirds were foraging in the big field on the way out to the bluebird snag at Stillwater (but no sign of the bluebirds this time).

The MOURNING DOVE and a male BLUE-WINGED TEAL were also at Montlake

Still no Red-eyed Vireos.
