i finally found untethered internet access in guingamp, and while it's not
exactly as close as i'd like to my apartment in pedernec, the cost isn't
horrible, and i THINK i'll be able to update everything at least weekly from
now on... for what it's worth, i'm currently updating my website with
photos taken during the last three weeks. if those who know european birds
could contact me with their ideas for what the "names" of the unnamed birds
are, and/or correct those i may easily have gotten wrong, i'd appreciate it.

for those who are on my mailing list, you will be receiving a separate email
in the next few minutes listing only the links to my blog...
