A quick post of a couple of highlights found at Nisqually this morning.
There was a VEERY along the dike trail on the river side just past the
junction of the spur trail that leads to an overlook of the lower Nisqually
River, this is a ways past the ring dike trail. The bird was seen very
well, but remained silent. The time was about 0830 or so. A full
description is warranted for this species at this location, and I will write
up my notes and send to someone when I have a bit more time.

In the same area there were 3 BLACK SWIFTS overhead. They were working
thier way down river and were last seen heading out over the sound near the
river mouth overlook. It seems like there are more birds passing through
right now with many more Wilson's Warblers and Warbling Vireos than were
present on Friday.
